Refund Policy
Every piece in the Ad-hoc collection is made once. It begins as a solid block of clay and ends as something that cannot be repeated. We want you to be certain before you buy. If something is not right, we will make it right.
Eligibility for a refund
You may request a refund within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, the piece must be returned in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging.
Because each object is unique, we do not offer exchanges. A returned piece cannot be replaced with another from the collection.
Full refunds
A full refund is issued in the following cases: the piece arrives damaged or broken, confirmed with photographic evidence submitted within 48 hours of delivery; the piece is returned within 15 days in its original unused condition.
Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned piece and confirming its condition. The amount is returned to the original payment method.
Damaged on arrival
If your piece arrives damaged, contact us at info@yakaneon.com within 48 hours of delivery. Provide a photograph of the damage and the packaging. We will issue a full refund or arrange a replacement, whichever you prefer. In confirmed cases of damage on arrival, return shipping is covered by us.
Photograph both the piece and the outer packaging before unpacking fully. This is essential for us to process the claim quickly.
Return shipping
If you are returning a piece because it is not suitable for your space, return shipping costs are your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service with adequate insurance, as we cannot issue a refund for pieces that are lost or damaged in transit on the return journey.
What we cannot refund
We cannot issue refunds for pieces that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery. We also cannot refund orders where the 15 day window has passed without prior contact.
Natural variation in colour, texture, weight, and surface character is inherent to hand-carved shamot clay. These are not defects. If you have questions about what a specific piece looks like before purchasing, contact us and we will provide additional photographs.
How to initiate a return
Contact us at info@yakaneon.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will confirm the return address and next steps within 48 hours. Do not send a piece back without prior confirmation
